In 2014 HG Fitness re-introduced morning classes Bootcamp and boxing for fitness in Darwin and Boxing for fitness in Palmerston!
As hard as it is to get up early in the morning there are many benefits of an early morning workout. When you are exercising the body releases endorphins, the chemical in your body that gives you a natural “high” so your mood will improve, your stress levels will drop and your blood circulation will increase! So all in all our morning classes are a great way to kick start your day!
Another benefit of performing a morning workout is that it raises your metabolism and your metabolism stays elevated for a few hours after your session. An elevated metabolism means you burn more calories, to be exact studies suggest that you’ll burn up to 300% more calories doing morning cardio than doing cardio at any other time of the day!
If you are having trouble becoming motivated our trainers are always there with interesting, fun programs and encouraging words to remind you why you started! And it may also encourage you to know that while other are still asleep or just pulling themselves out of bed you are kick-starting your morning while working on your health and fitness! Ah, personal training darwin style!
The morning classes we hold are:
- Boxing for fitness at Palmerston Christian College on Wednesday mornings from 6am to 7am (6 week blocks – $90*)
- Bootcamp at Jingili Water Gardens on Wednesday Mornings from 6am to 7am (4 week blocks- $55*)
- Boxing for fitness at Darwin High School on Friday Mornings from 6am to 7am (6 week blocks- $90*)
