THE boot is on the other foot for one superfit new mum. After three years of whipping mums back into shape at Baby Boot Camp, fitness instructor Hollie Goodall is seeing things from the other side of the fence.
Ms Goodall gave birth to her first child on May 16 and the pressure is on to see if she can practise what she preaches.
“The other mums are all very supportive,” she said.
“I can’t run properly yet but I’m hoping to compete in the City to Surf in a couple of weeks.”
Ms Goodall was back in front of a class just four days after her daughter Cobie Louisa-May was born. Her partner, fellow fitness instructor Tim Lee, has continued to take the mums and bubs boot camp, but with Hollie on the receiving end. For other classes, she has been popping Cobie in a baby sack and jumping on a kick bike for the running activities.
“People have been looking at me a bit funny,” she said.
She admits being pregnant gave her a new perspective on what her clients go through.
“I can now see how much harder it is for them,” she said.
